Application of a Magnetic Field in Saturated Film Boiling of a Magnetic Nanofluid (MNF) under Reduced Gravity

To overcome the problem of abnormally large bubbles and reduction heat flux under low gravity, computational model magnetic nanofluid (MNF) boiling flow was used to systematically study thermodynamic characteristics an MNF-saturated film with without field. This found that in absence a field, decrease gravity level makes bubble size increase departure time increase, lower level, worse transfer. However, after applying decreases significantly is shortened. As field intensity increases, difference transfer between different levels becomes smaller smaller, which shows for MNF levels, can effectively avoid appearance bubbles, enhance transfer, improve safety related equipment.
